After a leisurely breakfast and driver's meeting, we are now ready to reach the famous Burgundy region. We will make a stop in the city of Beaune for a visit of L'Hotel Dieu.
A private guided tour will take us around this historical hospital which received its first patient in the year 1452 and has kept its door opens to everyone ever since. That is 553 years of uninterrupted care...

The buildings, well known for their trademarked colorful roofs, also contain impressive wine cellars. One of the unique characteristics of the Hospices is its wine producing estate of over 150 acres, which have made it through its entire hsitory.

By mid afternoon, we will take the short drive to our last historical hotel. L'Abbaye de la Bussiere is a superbly restored 12th century abbey transformed into a small luxury hotel and is located at the footsteps of the patron saint of winemakers, St. Vincent.
Relax upon arrival by discovering the grounds, visiting the old wine cellar as well the middle aged wine press. A welcome dring will be served on the terrace (weather permitting) followed by a superb dinner in the stone-vaulted restaurant. Enjoy your last night in France in this heaven of peace as we are heading back to Germany tomorrow.

Magnificently restored, this former XIIth century Cistercian abbey boasts a quite beautiful architectural setting. The lake and the botanic garden are just some of the attractions in its truly tranquil park.
